Laundry Soap
One of our neighbors, Sandy Davis, introduced us to a great home-made laundry detergent recipe that we think you'll love like we do.  We now stock the bulk ingredients needed to make this home-made laundry soap - so come on by the store or buy one online and we'll set you up with a kit!

    Laundry Soap Recipe
  • 1/2 cup Borax
  • 1 cup Washing Soda
  • 6oz Homemade Lye Soap (grated)
  • 1/4 oz Essential Oil (ie. lavender, lemon - both antibacterial)
  • 4 cups of hot water
    Heat the water with the soap until soap is melted.  In a 5 gallon bucket mix the Borax and Washing Soda, add and stir in the melted soap.  Fill the bucket with hot water.  Let sit overnight.  Then add essential oil.
    
Make 5 gallons of laundry soap for less than $10.00!
